I'm Dionne.
I believe you should take the trip.
I created The Passport Social because somewhere along the way, I realized travel had become much more than a vacation for me.
It’s the planning. The anticipation. The moment you land somewhere you’ve never been. Getting a little lost. Finding the restaurant you almost walked past. Standing somewhere ridiculously beautiful and realizing a photograph will never quite capture what it felt like to actually be there.
And, maybe most importantly, it’s the people you share those moments with.
HOW I GOT HERE
I’m not someone who has spent my entire life working in the travel industry.
Quite the opposite.
I spent years building a career, raising a family, working hard, handling responsibilities and doing all the things we're supposed to do. Travel became the thing that reminded me there was a whole world outside of everyday life.
And once I started seeing more of it, I wanted more.
Not more stuff.
More places.
Experiences.
Stories.
I love the beautiful hotel and the incredible dinner, but I'm equally interested in the road nobody told us to take, the tiny town we weren't planning to stop in, and the place we discover because somebody said, “Wait. Let's go see what's over there.”
That’s my kind of travel.
HOW I LIKE TO TRAVEL
I'm not interested in cramming twelve attractions into eight hours just so we can say we saw them.
I want time to experience the place.
Give me the incredible view. The local restaurant. The beautiful boutique hotel. The scenic drive. The unexpected stop. The slightly ridiculous adventure we'll laugh about later.
I appreciate luxury, but I don't believe luxury always means five stars.
Sometimes luxury is a beautiful room overlooking the ocean.
Sometimes it's having an itinerary thoughtfully planned so you don't have to think about anything.
And sometimes it's sitting somewhere spectacular with a glass of wine thinking, "How the hell did we end up here?"
That's the sweet spot.

About Me
Why The Passport Social?
Because one of the biggest reasons people don't take the trip has nothing to do with the destination.
They don't have anyone to go with.
Friends have different schedules. Partners don't always want to travel. People have different budgets. Life gets busy. And sometimes you've been waiting years for somebody else to finally say yes.
I don't think you should have to wait.
The Passport Social was created for solo travelers, couples, friends, families and people who simply want to experience more of the world.
Sometimes I'll help you plan your own adventure.
Sometimes we'll travel as a group.
Sometimes you'll arrive knowing everyone.
And sometimes you might arrive knowing absolutely no one.
That's where the Social comes in.
Because I love the idea that you can leave home as strangers, experience something incredible together, and come back with friendships and stories that didn't exist before the trip.
